What you just did

You captured a session with labelled time markers and exported it, so the moments that mattered are on record instead of in your memory.

An export is a file, and files get lost. Life Orchestrator puts your sessions on a timeline with the projects, notes, and calendar entries they relate to, so a marker you set in March still makes sense in June.

Timestamp Recorder and Life Orchestrator

Marking moments while something is happening is a skill, and doing it without fumbling through a general purpose notes app matters. Timestamp Recorder is deliberately narrow for that reason: start, mark, label, export, done. It records nothing but what you tell it to.

The weakness is what happens afterwards. A session export is accurate and completely contextless. Six weeks later you have a list of times and short labels and no reliable way to remember which project it belonged to or what you decided as a result.

Life Orchestrator gives those sessions a home. Projects, Notes, Calendar, Activity Feed, and Today and Planner all run on one synced account, so a captured session sits with the work it came from and shows up in the history of that project rather than in a folder of exports.

Timestamp Recorder is still the right tool for the moment itself, offline, with no account required. Life Orchestrator is what stops those moments from going cold.
