Timestamp Recorder Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Timestamp Recorder app. The Life Orchestrator platform has its own policy, linked at the end of this page.

Introduction

Timestamp Recorder (“the App”) is developed by Life Orchestrator. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.

Data Collection

Local-first architecture

Timestamp Recorder is designed with a local-first approach. By default, all of your data is stored exclusively on your device. That includes:

  • Recording sessions: start time, duration, and session name
  • Timestamps: time markers, labels, and notes
  • Export history and preferences
  • App settings and configurations

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to connect to Life Orchestrator.

Data we do not collect

  • We do not collect personal identification information
  • We do not track your location
  • We do not access your microphone or camera
  • We do not record audio or video content
  • We do not collect analytics or usage data without consent

Data Sharing

Life Orchestrator integration (optional)

If you choose to connect Timestamp Recorder to Life Orchestrator:

  • Your session and timestamp data is synced to Life Orchestrator’s secure servers
  • Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
  • Shared data is then governed by Life Orchestrator’s privacy policy

Third parties

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Your data is never shared unless one of the following applies:

  • You explicitly enable Life Orchestrator sync
  • Disclosure is required by law
  • Disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or safety

Data Deletion

How to delete your data

You can delete your data at any time:

  1. Delete individual sessions: swipe left on any session and tap Delete
  2. Delete individual timestamps: edit a session and remove specific timestamps
  3. Delete all local data: go to Settings, then Data Management, then Clear All Data
  4. Delete synced data: if connected to Life Orchestrator, go to Settings, then Life Orchestrator, then Disconnect and Delete Data

When you delete data locally, it is permanently removed from your device. If the data has been synced to Life Orchestrator, you must also delete it from your Life Orchestrator account.

Uninstalling the App

Uninstalling the App deletes all locally stored data. Synced data held in Life Orchestrator must be deleted separately.

Data Security

  • All data is stored using secure device storage
  • Synced data uses TLS 1.3 encryption in transit
  • Life Orchestrator uses AES-256 encryption at rest
  • We implement industry-standard security practices

Children’s Privacy

Timestamp Recorder is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the date at the top of this page.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data
  • Export your data
  • Opt out of data processing
